9. Interurban Railway Museum
It’s not a big museum like others but the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, funny and personable. Great historic outing right in Plano. It is small, well kept and explained the museum. Very interesting and great for young teens and younger kids and also cool for adults.

The amount of detail and information they provide is astounding. This is the place I always recommend to people visiting Columbus. This is a great free museums of rotating exhibits meaning there is no permanent collection and every visit can be different. The building is art deco, a former post office and worth a look by itself. Definitely recommend so cool and had amazing displays. It was in a cool area and you could go see the Vietnam memorial right after which is nice!! There is no admission charge to the Tennessee State Museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions.

The auditorium is awesome. The staff is polite and efficient. I loved their bookstore. This is a very well-run public library that organizes top-notch intellectual events. It is super-easy to get to with public transportation.

Awesome place to relax and enjoy the view. Great place for pictures. A lot of people are running there early in the morning and this is what I have been doing for a long time. In the evening is great when the sun goes down. The park is really clean.

Every Monday is free admission. Fascinating view of a vanished society. Learning about the Jewish immigrants who settled in this part of Manhattan and helped to build New York into the city it is today was really interesting.
